MONTGOMERY, Ala. – William Carey was the unanimous choice at the top of the 2026 SSAC Women’s Tennis Coaches’ Preseason Poll.  
 
The 2026 SSAC Women’s Tennis Championship is set for April 16-18 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala. 
 
William Carey earned the SSAC Regular Season Championship last season, while Loyola won the tournament title.
 
Marc Lux, Head Coach: “The league is very balanced. We return the same team from last year, and the girls showed great consistency, finishing the regular season undefeated. We fell a bit short in the postseason, and our goal this year is to be fully prepared when it matters most. We had an outstanding fall, winning the Women’s Singles Regional Championship and reaching the semifinals at the National Championships. We want to carry that momentum into the spring.”
