MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Middle Georgia State def. William Carey 4-2 to win the 2024 SSAC Women’s Tennis Championship, presented by Newk’s Eatery.
 
William Carey started the match with a. 1-0 lead after taking No. 2 and 3 doubles. 
 
In singles action, No. 1 and 4 singles went to a third set, with the clinching point coming in the form of a 1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win at No. 1 singles. 
 
The Knights won their second tournament title in the last three seasons.
