MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Twelve SSAC men’s soccer student-athletes earned 2024 NAIA Men’s Soccer All-America honors Monday. Mobile’s Emilio Cazares was named NAIA Men’s Soccer Player of the Year.
Cazares ranked 3
rd in the NAIA with 50 points and tied for 1
st with 23 goals. Cazares had seven games with multiple goals. Cazares is the first Ram to take home the top honor since 2021 when Alejo Binaghi received the award.

McConnell and Mendes receive recognition for the second-straight year.
Dalton State
- Leite led the NAIA with an 0.878 save percentage, six goals allowed and a 0.27 goals against average
- Bittencourt and Ishizuka led a defense that allowed only seven goals all season. Ishizuka also added four goals and nine assists
Mobile
- Cazares finished 3rd in the NAIA with 50 points and tied for the lead with 23 goals
- McMahon finished 5th in the NAIA with 45 goals and added nine assists
- Mutiri (2 G, 1 A), Mendes (6 G, 2 A) and Dolcini (1 G, 1 A) aided a defense that posted a 0.70 goals against average
William Carey
- McConnell finished with eight goals and eight assists
- Hampshaw logged 19 starts, allowing only 18 goals and making 35 saves
Life
- Rodella tied for the NAIA lead with 23 goals and led with 53 points
UT Southern
- Flores finished the year with 42 points on 18 goals and six assists
