MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Six teams earned a first place vote as Life (Ga.) claimed the top spot in the 2024-25 SSAC Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Preseason Poll.
 
The 2025 SSAC championship takes place Feb. 26 – March 1 in Montgomery, Ala., at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl. 
 
Kevin Easley, Life Head Coach:  “It’s a great day to be a Running Eagle! We are very honored to be picked preseason no. 1 by the league. We have great coaches and teams in our league and there are a number of teams that could have been selected first. We are excited to return to the floor to compete this upcoming season!”
