YSPILANTI, Mich. – The 2023 NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance National Championships will get started Friday, March 10 at 4 p.m. EST. Loyola’s competitive dance team and Mobile’s competitive cheer team will represent the SSAC.

The championships are taking place at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. Day one will start with dance prelims at 4 p.m. and cheer prelims at 6:30 pm. Loyola will be the seventh dance team to compete and Mobile will be the 13^th cheer team to perform. Saturday’s dance finals will start at 9 a.m., with the cheer finals following at 1 p.m.
 
Mobile finished 13^th at last year’s championship with a score of 79.05. Loyola last competed in the 2021 finals and finished 8^th with a score of 63.63.
