Jimenez Named NAIA Women's Soccer POTY; 11 Earn All-America Honors

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – William Carey’s Mariangela Jimenez was named NAIA Player of the Year and eleven SSAC student-athletes earned 2023 NAIA Women’s Soccer All-America honors Monday, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
 
The NAIA All-America Committee selected a first, second and third-team. WCU led everyone with four first team selections and six honorees overall, while UT Southern was tied for second with four honorees. 
 
Jimenez played in 25 games, totaling 17 assists and 21 goals for 59 points. She posted eight multi-goal games on the season.
