GREENVILLE, Ala. – (Full Results) Faulkner (Ala.) rallied to win the 2022 SSAC Men’s Golf Championship, presented by Newk’s Eatery. The Eagles started the day in sixth place, but shot a one-under 287 on the final day to win by six strokes. Dalton State’s Steve Kibare won the individual championship after finishing at two-under 214 (72, 69, 73) to win by three strokes.
 
The Eagles trailed by 17 strokes after day one. The win is Faulkner’s first men’s golf championship since the 2013-14 season, snapping Dalton State’s run of six-straight titles.
 
The best individual score of any round in the tournament was 69, shot by Kibare, Adam Files and Carter Nicholson.
