BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – (Full Results) Brewton-Parker (Ga.) won the 2022 SSAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championship with 237 points Monday evening at the Birmingham CrossPlex. William Carey (Miss.)’s Jacob Plocher was named Championship Top Scorer with 24 points in non-relay events.

NAIA Qualifying Marks

• Mobile’s Joseph Moses III hit the NAIA ‘B’ Qualifying mark with a 6.91 second win in the 60m
• WCU’s Malique Savery clocked in at 48.33 in the 400m to qualify for a trip to the national championship
• BPC’s Brandon Schultz continued his dominance in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.10, again surpassing the NAIA ‘A’ Qualifying mark
• The Crusaders’ Ledamian Rowell posted a 14.35m jump in the triple jump to qualify

• The Barons dominated in the field events with seven of the top 11 scorers in just field events. They also had multiple runners earn points in eight different track events
• Matthew Dunn led with 16 points, while Jaylen Green and Nathaniel Shields won the high jump and pole vault, respectively
• BPC posted three of the top four in the weight throw, four of the top six in the shot put, four of the top five in the triple jump and four of the top seven in the high jump
• William Carey featured the top five individual scorers minus relays
• WCU’s Zachary Fielder won the 800m and 1,000m runs, while Carson Barlow claimed the 3,000m and 5,000m
