SSAC Women's Soccer Teams Battling For Playoff Spots

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – With two weekends left to go in SSAC women’s soccer regular season play, there is plenty still to be decided.
 
Regular Season Champion
 
William Carey can claim the regular season title with a win or tie at Mobile Saturday. Middle Georgia and Mobile are still mathematically alive in the chase for the top spot.
 
How It Works
 
The top six seeds in the final standings qualify for postseason play. The top two earn a bye to the semifinals in Montgomery Wednesday, Nov. 9. The other four will compete in the first round at the home of the higher seed Nov. 3-5. 
 
What’s Available?
  • All teams are still mathematically alive for a playoff spot
  • William Carey, Middle Georgia, Mobile, Faulkner and Life still have a shot at one of the top two spots
  • All but Talladega have a shot at the No. 3 or 4 seed and the right to host the first round contest

The semifinals will take place Wednesday, Nov. 9 and the finals Friday, Nov. 11 at Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex. All tickets will be sold online only.
