GULF SHORES, Ala. – Ineh Emmanuel's individual National Championship in the long jump highlighted the first two days of the 2021 NAIA M&W Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will conclude Friday with 29 event finals.
Emmanuel dominated the event, turning in the top three marks. On the women's side, Mobile's Anna Cabrera turned in an All-American finish in the heptathlon and Brittany Jones (long jump) and Nevagant Jones (triple jump) turned in All-American performances for the Crusaders.
In prelims action, WCU's Aniekeme Etim (100m and 200m) and Joy Abu (100m Hurdles and 400m Hurdles) turned in the top marks to advance to Friday's finals. Emmanuel also turned in the top mark in the 100m prelims.
